The information on this site has been gathered by private research and has no connection with the 306th Bomb Group either USA or UK in any manner what so ever.

However, I would like to offer my grateful thanks to those that did supply information, in particular, the families of the airmen who passed away in this crash. They have worked tirelessly to find out what had happened.

Without their help, what started out for me as a rumour for many months, may well have remained so. The leads from this crash began to extend for thousands of miles.
